8-Hour Hands-on Reality Based Training Day

This class is a Level II Advance class designed for experienced Safety Teams who are prepared to operate full speed in high stress environments with the goal of enhancing their responses and decision making to real life situations.

There will be some time spent on individual skills development at the beginning but the majority of the day is spent developing the “TEAM” dynamic and will include elments such as …

                    • Five step approach to an unknown situation
                    • Four man response priciples
                    • Situational awareness
                    • Control and compliance options
                    • De-escalation principles

All training weapons and equipment will be provided and ZERO REAL WEAPONS will be allowed inside the training area. All students are required to come fully equippend with all items they normally carry on duty (holster, flashlight, radio, TQ, notepad, DSM banner, etc. ) except for real weapons. Students will be required to train equipped the way they work and will be evaluated on how well they are able to maintain and effectively use that equipment.
