4-hour Advanced Church Safety Officer Training Class

NOTE: This is not a seminar, it is a class with a hands-on environment designed to teach church safety officers how to respond to critical events in real time. Zero real weapons or ammo allowed.

Topics Covered
• Equipment for the job: You must attend equipped as you would be on duty (EXCEPT REAL WEAPONS). Zero real weapons allowed on campus
• Empty hand skills (including weapons retention): Basic control and compliance techniques
• Response Strategies: Individual contact assesment as well as team dynamics during a response
• Communication under stress: Verbal, visual and radio communications will be stressed throughout all training events
• Reality Based Scenarios: Including multiple various situations ranging from ministry opportunities to active shooter, all based on real events

Who Should Attend… church safety leadership, current or potential church Safety Officers, and church staff associated with the church safety plan.

NOTE: Come equiped as you would for regular duty except any real weapons. That means holster, training weapon (if you have it), flashlight, restraints, notepad, radio, etc.. Training weapons will be provided for those who do not have one available.
